In view of the fact that coal in cold areas cannot be washed and processed in winter, Shenzhou group has developed an alpine dry separation system suitable for coal separation in cold areas. Baiyinhua No. 3 coal mine dry coal preparation plant, with a design capacity of 6.0mt/a, is built in an open pit, and it takes only 70 days from construction to operation. It is mainly used for full size separation of residual coal and low calorific value coal in the pit. The calorific value of raw coal is 2937kcal / kg, and the calorific value of cleaned coal after separation is increased to 3524kcal / kg. Dry coal preparation not only improves the calorific value of coal, but also reduces the stock of residual coal and reduces the risk of spontaneous combustion, which has brought huge economic and social benefits to the mine. It is also a very large underground dry coal preparation plant in the world.

The coal in Heishan coal mine is mainly long flame coal and non-stick coal. The tar content is up to 18.6%, which is the best raw material for coal to semi-coke. The average altitude of the mining area is more than 2000 meters, which belongs to continental arid and alpine climate, so the traditional water preparation method cannot be used. After that, ZM400 plateau dry separation system is selected to discharge gangue and improve the quality of 80-20mm mixed lump coal. The gangue content of cleaned coal is controlled within 2% ~ 5%, which fully meets the needs of semi-coke plant.
